Welcome to

Stampede delivers programs that surround, but do not conflict with, the lacrosse season at our area high schools.  The programs are self-funded and separate from high school or "boosters" funding provided through the schools.

Stampede's program season starts in June and finishes in February.

  • Fall Lacrosse -  This program includes a 4 week/8 game indoor season, typically on Sundays starting in September at the Bladium in Alameda.  The next 4 weeks have 7X7 scrimmages against local clubs.  The scrimmages are against local clubs and are played at a field near Miramonte High School, usually on Sunday afternoons.  There are no practices, but adult coaching for games is provided.
  • Conditioning - Starts in November and runs through January.  This program, directed by a conditioning coach, is scheduled Monday through Thursday.  It focuses on developing strength and stamina to prepare players for the upcoming season. The conditioning program is open to male and female athletes.
  • Pre-Season Clinics - Preceding  the high-school lacrosse season, Stampede hosts a set of clinics featuring a combination of local club coaches.  Previous sessions have included:  Attack clinics with Colin Knightly, Midfielder clinics with Lorne Smith, Defensive clinics with Michael Hennessey, and Goalie clinics with Andrew Hax.
